Nothing really special to mention. The scenario takes place, Whoopie made to perfection; point out that, as I already mentioned, there is very little mention of African-American Cultra, there is no love scene, and good feelings prevail on every occasion just a little capital. The success unfortunately called by sequel pales ( Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit ), although performed by Bill Duke.
The African-American cast is underdeveloped. It should be noted Bill Nunn in his first major role with a white director, and AJ Johnson and Jenifer Lewis. It is still the low point for Harvey Keitel is that just a small supporting role, while that of the Mother Supérieure est finalement un des plus réussis avec l'interprétation pincée de Maggie Smith (Mrs MacGonnagal dans les Harry Potter ).
